Passports And Visas
TC Passport Requirements
You are responsible for making sure that you have a valid passport. You are recommended to
apply for a passport as soon as possible and to allow at least four weeks for delivery. If you
do not have an IRISH or BRITISH passport you must check to see if a visa is required for your
holiday and it's your responsibility to obtain the relevant visa. Visas may take up to three
weeks to obtain. If you do not hold an Irish or British Passport please ensure that your visas
for re-entry into Ireland or the United Kingdom are current and valid. If the name you have
given us on the booking form is different to that shown on your passport due to marriage you
must bring your marriage certificate with you or otherwise obtain a new passport. Marriage
certificates can only be accepted if issued less than six months prior to travel. THE NAME ON
YOUR FLIGHT TICKET MUST AGREE WITH THE NAME ON YOUR PASSPORT for obvious security reasons.
Visas
Egypt Visa
All Irish and British passport holders entering Egypt must obtain a visa from the Egyptian
Embassy (a single entry visa, valid for 3mths costs €25, subject to change) or on arrival in
Egypt. It is usually cheaper to obtain a visa on arrival into Egypt. Please note that for
arrivals into Sharm el Sheikh there are two types of visa 1). Sinai visa 2). Normal visa. The
Sinai visa is free of charge, however, travel around the Sinai Penisula is restricted.
Therefore, to enable you to take full advantage of the excursion programme, the cruise and
stay, twin centre and multi centre holidays, we would recommend that you pay for the normal
visa, approximately €15 (subject to change). This fee is payable in either Euros, Pounds
Sterling or US Dollars.
Turkish Visa
A visa is required for entry to Turkey. Visas are issued on arrival at a cost of €10 per
person (including infants). This fee is only payable in Euro or Sterling notes. Cheques, credit
cards, coins or Turkish Lira are not accepted. This fee is correct at time of going to print
but we recommend that you check before you depart with the Turkish Embassy, 11 Clyde Road,
