Maspalomas

Maspalomas has perhaps the most beautiful beaches on Gran Canaria. 3km of Saharalike sand dunes and beaches lapped by intensely blue sea are a paradise for sun worshippers. There is a waterpark and an 18-hole golf course and shopping opportunities abound in the commercial centres, which offer a good choice of duty free goods. Just a short bus or taxi ride away in Playa del Ingles, you will find a wide variety of evening entertainment. Meloneras, about 1.5km from the centre of Maspalomas, is an up and coming resort with a relaxing atmosphere and a selection of upmarket restaurants, shops and bars.
